Dr. Joseph Ostheller
| Bio: I Graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1988, and the University of Utah in 1994, and Marquette School of Dentistry in 1999. I chose to be a dentist because I wanted to have a concrete viable skill, and I like working with my hands. Dentistry is fun. Meeting new people... Long term relationships with families... Being a part of a community... Helping people with teeth and health issues. I have a wife and four children. I like to ski, snowboard, play tennis, and sing barbershop harmony. Holistic info: When I was in Dental school I wrote a paper about the mercury in amalgam fillings controversy. It was my conclusion then, that the Scandinavian research which showed that certain mice (ones that could be reproduced genetically) would have mercury found in their organs at post mortem disection. Other mice were fine with the amalgam fillings. I theorized that there are genetically susceptible people, just like there are genetically susceptible mice. I think that some people are adversely affected by the placement of amalgams in their teeth. I think the percentage of population is very small. However, if a person is concerned about health issues which may be related to mercury toxicity, I think that some testing should be done. To learn more about these issues goto www.hugginsappliedhealing.com. A dentist is required is purchase certain equipment in order to become an "alliance" dentist, affiliated with Dr. Huggins. I am an alliance dentist. The negative ion generator and the rita meter help me to remove amalgam fillings in the safest, most holistic way.
